Using Lectern
Lectern is a teaching desk. You prepare notes, slides, and quizzes from your own readings, and you review suggested marks before anything is released. You must be allowed to upload the material you add, including student work.
Your account
You are responsible for the email address on the account and for keeping the password private. Activity under your account is yours, including links you share with students.
Student work
Share links and assessment links collect submissions so you can review them. You decide what students receive. A suggested mark is not a final mark until you release it.
Plans and payment
Free includes a one-time starter allowance. It does not renew. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly. Team is priced per teacher. Bachs or Paystack processes the charge. You can cancel and keep access until the period you already paid for ends.
Acceptable use
Do not use Lectern to break the law, to upload material you have no right to use, or to interfere with the service. We may suspend an account that does.
